Spring Training Series on Technology
Remote, Virtual and Hybrid in person Services

This 4-week community of practice module will help you organize and deliver great services that will keep you and your individuals safe and connected to the community!

Learning objectives:
1. To reflect on how some core values of supported employment (zero exclusion, competitive jobs, individualized support) operate in virtual and remote service contexts.
2. To develop organizational tools to maximize the effectiveness of virtual sessions.
3. To learn and practice a flexible approach to task analysis, and reflect on how they can incorporate task analysis into their individualized virtual employment supports.
4. To learn and share ideas for fun and creative virtual facilitation, and accompanying technology.
5. To have a general framework for general technology assessments, as well as considerations for virtual assessment.
6. To build a community of practice to learn from each other on best practice for different platforms and service delivery.


- Week 1 (April 28, 1pm – 3pm): Building a better normal: Remote, Virtual, and Hybrid in-person Services
- Week 2 (May 5, 1pm – 2:30pm): Community of Practice Meeting 1
- Week 3 (May 12, 1pm – 3pm): Assessment of Technology Needs
- Week 4 (May 19, 1pm – 2:30pm): Community of Practice meeting 2

Participants must commit to fully attend ALL 4 sessions.
